A day to get settled in. I rode Arthur lightly and tried to excercize Bodie (my exuberant young jack russell terrier) really hard before they start cracking down on the leash law. I keep saying I need to get a giant hamster wheel to put in the truck on long travel days so that he can keep himself moving. Tuesday night we had dinner with Lynn Miles (an old pony club friend). Lynn makes the most amazing Italian food and she is always a great laugh — this was a super way to start this big week. Also… JJ arrived late Tuesday night. It was a pleasant surprise to see her reading Pippa Funnell’s autobiography.
