I’m pretty thrilled with Vandyke’s show jump round at Kentucky! He was so great with the atmosphere all weekend! I’m definitely out of this event with a better horse ?? His body felt great jumping, and I can only think that the new RevitaVet blanket that we got to try out helped him feel so great!!

We had an excellent start to the season at Pine Top Eventing. Nancy Winter’s No May Moon was 1st in the AI and The RICO Syndicate’s Vandyke was 2nd in the AI. The Zebedee Group’s Monbeg Zebedee was mostly super but a silly green moment kept him out of a top placing! Big congrats to student Katie Lichten on her 2nd and 3rd place finish in the OP. As always I couldn’t function without my amazing Team! A huge thank you to Paige Ansaldi, Hailey Gahan, and Devon Sutherland for all their hard work. These photos were taken before I started balling ? This morning I put Business Ben on the trailer to go to his new home and rider. It was a huge life decision for me to sell this horse. I don’t think I could ask for a better situation for him as I know he will get the best care with an incredible rider. Wishing all the luck in the world to HSB Eventing and Business Ben!

The AECs were a very busy and fun week! I cannot thank my dear childhood friend Cheryl Murphy Brownell for coming along on another “working holiday”!!! Cheryl is so fun to have around and did all my amazing tail braids this weekend! The next time I will see her will be at our 30th high school reunion!
So incredibly proud of my students this weekend at the 2023 USEA American Eventing Championships Presented by Nutrena Feeds !!!! Sisi Gallagher was the big winner in the Training Rider Championships, Conner Ann Clark was 10th in the Modified Rider Championships, @kendallAdams was 11th and Katie Tyer was 15th in the Novice Junior Rider division, Kathleen Herbig was 16th in the Novice Master Amateur Championships!!!!
Nancy Winter’s homebred Connemara Dazzling Nocturne and I were 11th in the Novice Horse division, Emma Whittaker was 3rd on HSH Golden Boy in the Junior 14 and under Beginner Novice division and Jen Rodgers All Clear Farm and her AC Sir Elton were Reserve Champion TIP in the Novice Horse division!
