BEMER Horse-Set

A lot has changed at ASE in the past month- from moving farms to heading down to our winter place- but something that hasn’t has been our BEMER Horse-Set schedule. We love the BEMER around here, we use it pre and post work out to ensure loose and limber muscles. Sometimes I even wrap up in it after a particularly long day!

Nupafeed

Nupafeed is my secret weapon for peak performance. This magnesium supplement ensures calm focus, aiding concentration in the show ring. With a unique liquid formula, it’s readily absorbed, supporting muscle function and reducing tension. For a relaxed, responsive partner in competition, Nupafeed is my go-to.

Wishing all the luck in the world to HSB Eventing and Business Ben!

These photos were taken before I started balling ? This morning I put Business Ben on the trailer to go to his new home and rider. It was a huge life decision for me to sell this horse. I don’t think I could ask for a better situation for him as I know he will get the best care with an incredible rider. Wishing all the luck in the world to HSB Eventing and Business Ben!

Haygain

When you’re working to produce a horse at the top levels, a robust training program is just the beginning. Treating horses as athletes means prioritizing their well-being. That’s why we choose Haygain – safeguarding our equine partners with clean forage and ensuring peak respiratory health. Because in eventing, every breath matters.

Amerigo saddles

Why do I choose Amerigo saddles? The answer is simple: quality and comfort. The precision craftsmanship and ergonomic design provide unparalleled support for both me and my horses. Riding in Amerigo is not just a choice; it’s a commitment to excellence.

Happy birthday Bandit!

Happy birthday to my sweetest boy Bandit! The official welcoming committee of Allison Springer Eventing! Every year he learns new skills! He has mastered running over timber but still working on those brush jumps.

Nupafeed USA

We love the Nupafeed Magnesium Concentrated Paste- it is specifically formulated to support calmness and muscle function in horses. Literally, you can find it in the feed room and in everyone’s trailers ready to go!

In Memory of Gold Dust Moon

This week we had to say goodbye to one of the greatest of all times: Gold Dust Moon. “Dusty” was another incredible Connemara bred by Nancy Winter. I had the joy of teaching him to jump, competing him through the Training level, making him into the best first flight fox hunter for Nancy and refusing many “Open Check” offers to buy him. This was a true gem of a horse and Nancy enjoyed hunting Dusty for many many years! We will all miss you Dusty and know you are up in heaven following the hounds!

Offered for your consideration: Business Ben

A very rare opportunity to buy a proper Advanced level horse.

Business Ben is a 2010 TB gelding by Artie Schiller out of a Danzig mare. He is an absolutely stunning horse. Ben is easy and very competitive on the flat; he is strong cross country but very safe and very smart. Although show jumping is his weakest phase, he has jumped a number of important clean rounds and he jumps his best rounds on a Sunday after cross country – he wants to be careful but being a TB sometimes his love of jumping and his job gets the better of him. He really tries his heart out, and is a cross country machine. He is a true Thoroughbred that loves eventing and his job. He is best suited for a pro or an experienced YR/AA who has put in some time at the upper levels already and is looking for a horse to give them upper level miles. I believe he still has a 5*L in him.
He had time off due to a proximal suspensory injury. I took a long time to bring him back and did the rehab work under the guidance of the UTC Scan, so I feel very confident about his return to upper level work and future. He has competed numerous times this year post-rehab and is now re-qualified to do a 4*L.

Annual Thanksgiving clinic

I just returned from my annual Thanksgiving clinic in my hometown, Barrington IL. There are many people that make this weekend so special: my mom, Carolyn Springer, for organizing; Christy Cressey for hosting at her beautiful Cresswood Farm; Jan Nestrud for the wheels; Betsy Bramsen for the pool house; the clinic participants and their coaches that send their students.
