Morven was my first competition back in the states. It was a really important one, because it was Burger’s (a.k.a. Destination Known) last run before the Fall Championships at Fairhill, and two of my students were doing their first CCI *. The CCI* was being run under the long format which means on cross country day the riders & horses would have to do steeplechase and roads and tracks. Competing in a CCI* has been one of Kaiti’s life long dreams, so this was a very big weekend for her. She was fabulous! Her smile show jumping showed what a huge accomplishment this competition was for her! AND… she was 9th place!!! A top ten finish!!! YAY Kaiti! Here is a picture of Kaiti going steeplechase!
Mr. Burger also had a fantastic weekend. He had a lovely dressage, was soooo much fun xc and had one of his stellar clean sj rounds. Ended up 5th! I am definitely feeling confident going into Fairhill, he should do very well there.
