Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas everyone!!! It is now the end of a few wonderful days with my family in Barrington Hills, IL (my hometown). I don’t really think my Christmas is much different than most other peoples — but it always feels like the very best Christmas ever. Some last minute shopping, eating, hanging out with friends I haven’t seen in ages, eating again, watching Christmas movies, eating way too much! Our Christmas tradition begins Christmas Eve. We have my very favorite for breakfast — Swedish Pancakes. Dinner at the Barrington Bistro, church at 7 and then to an extraordinary dessert and caroling party at Elyse and Ray Roberts home. The dessert party is so amazing. The decorations, the music, the singers, the desserts, and the company of long time friends makes this evening one of my favorite nights of the year. Christmas Day is a quiet time for me and my parents. Opening presents in the morning and always traditional turkey dinner in the evening. It is always so good to be home and I am a always very sad to leave. I am so grateful to have such wonderful family and friends here and in Virginia and all over the world! Merry Christmas!
