Helmet Response!!!

Thank you all for such an overwhelming response to my post on helmet wearing!!! The Ride On Helmet Pledge I made with The Equine Source was: “I will wear a certified riding helmet while I am riding except in the competition show ring.” I will wear my helmet in horse trials dressage from now on, with the exception of advanced level and FEI dressage tests.
I have also been asked to name names and “call people out” who don’t wear helmets. I am not going to do this. At the end of the day, I realize that wearing a helmet is a personal choice. I just hope that people begin to recognize that helmets do save lives and can help to prevent head trauma.
